The built is growing
We are living in a country where most often the work done by machines, as totally normal in the western countries, is done by hard labour of the people that work on the construction site. And let me tell you that the label “Hand Made” does not only belong to premium cigars or expensive haute couture.

A couple of days ago the finishing touches to the structure and the placing of the floor panels as well as the roof panels has been taken place. Now, we need to take note that each panel – custom built to house the structural requirements as well as the water pipes and/or electrical conduits – is about 250kg+ of weight. Not a challenge in the northern wold where a small crane is in place to do the heavy lifting. NOT HERE! A team of eight men are using their combined skills and 16 hands to lift these monsters and putting them into place. On the floors and on the roof. A task for heroes. Wakanda is in Clarens. Full stop.
It needs pros that have done all this before. Leaders that show the others the way. Thank you guys. And thank you Anna for the generous loads of Clarens apples fro the men! Next step – waterproofing.
Don’t forget- never too old, never too crazy. Stay tuned.
