Josh Thatcher is a highly talented South African guitarist and vocalist known for his versatility and exceptional playing style. With a background in Classical, Blues, LoFi, Neo Soul, Rock, and EDM, he has established himself as one of South Africa’s leading musicians. Josh is based in Clarens, Free State.
Josh’s career highlights include being a session musician for renowned artists like Danny K, Loyiso, Kabelo, and Jason Hartman. He also spent 3 years as a resident musician in the Idols SA Band, showcasing his abilities to audiences across the country. Josh’s passion for music and dedication to his craft have earned him widespread recognition and critical acclaim for his electrifying live performances.
Most recently he released his debut single Nobody But You which made its way on to the S.A. Top 40 on Mix 93.8FM and stayed on the chart for 5 weeks.
His previous two singles, Your Embrace and New World Order, both climbed the same chart on Mix93.8FM and made their way to the No. 1 position and held their spot for several weeks
