LILY & BEAR – a fabulous duo
Lily & Bear – are a husband-and-wife team and a fantastic acoustic duo based in Clarens, Free State.
Lily & Bear’s sound is a guitar and synth driven mix of adult contemporary, alternative, indie pop with heartfelt female vocals in English and Afrikaans that translates in a great acoustic live experience. What started as the occasional jam session on dates, soon became a prolific duo performing live at weddings, bars, dives, restaurants, and friends’ houses. From there it was only one way – up and forward.
Their debut album “5” spawned from 5 years of marriage and almost 3 years of home studio fun and writing after demo recordings done in their living room in Clarens, Free State.
Bianca Pelser has been singing since early High School and reached the final stages of various competitions including Crescendo and Idols.
Heinrich Pelser studied music and is currently the guitarist for Jak de Priester and Helene Bester.
